In addition to being a licensed and certified Chiropractor in New Jersey, serving on the medical staff at several hospital centers in the Montclair area, I have also been a patient. I know what it’s like to be in pain and to have that pain relieved through Chiropractic adjustments.

Dr. Alfred Davis, Jr. received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, located in Glen Head, New York.  His post-graduate training has been focused in his areas of specialty, such as Sports Injuries, Scoliosis, Back Safety and Pediatric Chiropractic.  He is the director of the Davis Chiropractic Health and Wellness Center in Montclair, New Jersey for 28 years.

As past president of the New Jersey State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Davis is committed to helping families in the community experience improved health and vitality and seeks to provide quality chiropractic health care to as many families as possible.  He speaks regularly to local schools, businesses, and organization on health, wellness, and safety topics.  He enjoys educating others on wellness lifestyles, how to manage stress more effectively, how to prevent injury in the workplace, and how to maintain peak performance in all facets of life.

Dr. Davis is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.  He donates his time to many local community groups, including serving as Board President for the School of the Arts at Montclair State University.  Dr. Davis is also the co-chairperson for Montclair’s Afro-American Heritage Parade and Festival.

Dr. Davis lives in Montclair with his wife and son.  In is spare time he enjoys skiing, basketball and travel.
